WEST FARGO, ND – (September 1, 2011) – On Friday, September 2, an anti-bullying community assembly that focuses on kindness and compassion will be held at West Fargo High School.

The program, entitled Rachel's Challenge, was put together by Darrell Scott, the father of the first person (Rachel Scott) killed at Columbine High School on April 20, 1999. The community assembly is held in conjunction with training that will be done with the sophomore and junior students of West Fargo High School that same day. The program's curriculum is based on the five guiding principles of Rachel's life: influence, goal setting, journaling, acceptance and kindness; the program consists of habit-changing lessons to help insure a chain reaction of kindness and compassion.

The Rachel's Challenge community assembly will run from 5:45 – 6:45 PM on September 2 in the theatre at West Fargo High School (801 9th Street East, West Fargo).
