WEST FARGO, ND – (October 28, 2009) – In our ongoing efforts to communicate with staff, students, parents, district patrons, alumni, and other interested parties, West Fargo Public Schools now has a Twitter account. Twitter is a social media tool that enables its users to send and read short messages referred to as tweets.

WF Schools (our account name) “tweeted” for the first time on Tuesday, October 27, the beginning of what the district hopes is another great way for people to stay connected to events throughout the district. The use of Twitter will enhance, not replace, conventional means of communications, like the website, newsletters, or telephone calls.
