WEST FARGO, ND – (October 26, 2009) – For the second year in a row, the West Fargo Public Schools Administrative Team participated in the United Way Day of Caring. Eighteen administrators formed five teams that went out to the homes of senior citizens in West Fargo on October 8.

The teams helped their senior citizens with both inside and outside chores. Administrators raked yards, winterized garden plots, cleaned woodwork, organized garages, washed cars, cleaned cupboards, washed windows, and mowed.

The United Way of Cass-Clay has been uniting senior citizens with caring people who want to lend a helping hand for 18 years. In 2009, more than 1,300 volunteers from 83 organizations volunteered at the homes of over 450 senior citizens.
