The Packer boys' soccer team continued its unprecedented season with a trio of shutouts at the West Fargo Invitational Tournament, taking first place honors at the round-robin tourney by outscoring their opponents 22-0.

Shanley took second, sweeping their three games.

The Packers blanked Mandan 10-0 on Friday afternoon. On Saturday morning, West Fargo held off Bismarck St. Mary's, who is currently No. 2 in the West Region, 2-0. Saturday afternoon the team exploded for 10 goals again, drubbing Jamestown 10-0.

West Fargo, unbeaten in the East Region and 9-3 overall, faced South at the Bruins' home field on Tuesday afternoon as this edition of the Pioneer goes to press. They'll be at home on Thursday, when they square off with Grand Forks Central. That game is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. Next Tuesday night, the Pack will visit Fargo North for a contest that could determine the top seed in next month's state tournament. That game will start at 7 p.m. and will be played under the lights at the Spartan Field.
