After three decades in the same location at 401 7th St. E., the West Fargo Public Library will soon be up and running in its new home at the Lodoen Community Center, 109 3rd St. E.

Library officials have been in transition the last few weeks working with an Illinois-based moving company to complete the process. The new facility is expected to open in early August once everything is coordinated and operational.

Librarian Miriam Arves said she can hardly wait. ";We are trying to figure out how we stuffed all this material in 8,100 square feet of space. In our new location we'll have more than 22,000 square feet of room. It goes without saying that we are really looking forward to the expanded area and all the opportunities it will present.";

West Fargo Library patrons that have checked out materials are asked to hold onto them until the new library opens.
