The North Dakota State Assessments (NDSA) are tests that are written using Mathematics Standards adopted by the State. In order to help students understand concepts contained within each Standard, a series of questions were written. Behind each question in parentheses is the specific Standard that was addressed. The questions were written in a “quiz” format for each of the five Standards. The quizzes use a combination of multiple-choice questions and completion questions. This format was selected so that students can become comfortable with taking these kinds of tests. Located on this web page are three major parts. One section contains helpful hints for taking math tests. The other two sections contain the quizzes. One section is for middle school students and the other is for high school students.
If you have any questions about a quiz, please contact your math teacher. The sites listed below are reference materials. If people wish to look at the North Dakota Standards, please click on the appropriate grade level. Since it is very difficult to address all the concepts contained within the Standards using a series of short quizzes, students may wish to look at the concepts not contained in the quizzes. The “Other West Fargo Math Pages” show work previously done. Some topics are tutorials. Others show projects completed by students.
