REGISTRATION

Summer Registration: May 29, 2013 from 7:00 am - 7:00 pm.

  • I: June 17 - 27
  • II: July 8 - 18
  • III: July 22 - August 1

All classes will meet Monday - Thursday for 2 weeks

 
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
  • No phone registraions are accepted. You may sign up for 1 session at a time. We reserve the right to make schedule changes due to lack of enrollment. You will be notified if this occurs.
 
REFUND / CREDIT POLICY
  • Once registered for a class, a refund will only be issued if a class is cancelled, or if you provide a note from a physician explaining a medical condition which has prevented you from participating. No session changes will be allowed once classes have started.
 
SCHEDULING:
  • Berger Pool reserves the right to make any necessary schedule changes. If changes are made, the participants will be notified.

  • Aqua Tots: 6mo-2 yrs w/ mom or dad
  • Aqua Tykes: 3-5 yrs

LIFEGUARDING / WSI:
  • Lifeguarding / WSI: Classes will be offered this spring. Please call 356-2018 for more information.
 
INSURANCE:
  • It is the responsibility of every individual, their parent or guardian to provide for their own accident and health coverage. The West Fargo School District does not provide accident or health coverage.
 

 

POOL SCHEDULE, HOURS, FEES, & RULES

    11:15 - 12:45 pm Adult Lap Swim
    ** Season Tickets cannot be used for noon lap swim. They can only be used to attend open & family swim sessions at night and on weekends.

  • Mon, Tues & Thurs
    8:00 - 9:00 pm, Open Swim

  • Saturday & Sunday
    2:00 - 4:30 pm, Open Swim
    4:30 - 5:30 pm, Families and Adults
 

Swimming Lessons Fee

  • Tadpoles – Level 6: $35.00

Open Swim Fee

  • 12 & Unde: $1.50
  • 13 – 18: $1.50
  • Adults: $2.00
  • 55 & Over: $1.50

Season Pass Fee (8 month)

  • Youth: $35.00
  • Teen: $35.00
  • Adult: $40.00
  • Family: $55.00

Summer Pass Fee (3 month)

  • Youth: $30.00

Miscellaneous Fee

  • Rentals – Exclusive Use: $50.00

Miscellaneous Items

  1. Children 5 years of age and younger must be supervised by a responsible person 14 years of age or older at all times. Any child without proper supervision will not be allowed in the pool. Any child who is not 4 ft 6 in tall must be supervised as listed above.
  2. Parents and guardians are encouraged to pick their child up on time after classes and open swim.
  3. According to the Fargo Health Department, all diaper aged children are required to wear water proof / water tight diapers. They will be available at the pool for $1.00.
  4. Berger pool has a pool lift available for individuals who require assistance in entering the water.

Cellphone Policy:

  • The use of cellphones is not allowed in the locker rooms, bathrooms or pool areas.

Lifejacket Policy:

  • Coast guard approved lifejackets may be used for those individuals who are handicapped and who need them for safety purposes. They must be approved by the Supervisor on duty. Any person using a lifejacket must have be supervised by someone 14 years of age or older. No lifejackets are allowed in the diving well.

Weather Policy:

  • Berger Pool will close when severe electrical storms are in the area and during tornado warnings & watches. Please call 356-2018 with questions.

Diaper Policy:

  • All persons wearing diapers are required to wear WATERPROOF diapers at Berger Pool. They are available at the pool for $1.00.

Daycare Policy:

  • Daycare providers must follow a 10 child to 1 adult ratio for children ages 6 and older. A 7 child to 1 adult ratio will be followed for children ages 5 and younger. This policy includes lessons and open swim.
 

Other Berger Pool Rules

  • Swim attire of a reasonable level of decency is required for all patrons
  • All patrons must shower before entering the pool
  • No glass allowed in the building
  • No food or drink allowed in the pool or locker room areas
  • No sunflower seeds allowed in the building
  • No bandages in the pool
  • Patrons with open sores will not be permitted in the pool
  • No cut off shorts or T shirts allowed. Patrons must wear a swim suit.
  • No hair pins
  • Individuals with shoulder length hair should have it pulled back
  • No splashing, dunking or horseplay allowed
  • No running in the building
  • No abusive language or profanity allowed
  • Any person acting inappropriately in our facility will be asked to leave
  • Flotation devices are allowed during family swim only.
 

Pool Rentals Available

  • Pool rentals start at $50.00 an hour. This includes 2 guards. An additional charge will be added if more guards are needed. The Berger Elementary commons may be rented for $25.00 an hour if groups require a sitting area. Call 356-2018 for more information.

Any person using a lifejacket must have be supervised by someone 13 years of age or older. Persons using lifejackets are not allowed to use the diving boards.
  • The use of cell phones is not allowed in the locker rooms or pool area. Cell phones must be off and out of sight when using these areas. The use of any cameras or video equipment will not be allowed unless approved by the Aquatic Supervisor on duty.
